You know, it’s easy to get stuck looking backward. Past failures. Past pain. Past mistakes. But God calls us to lift our eyes. In Isaiah 43:18, He says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” God doesn’t want our past to hold us captive. Through Jesus Christ, our past is forgiven, our guilt is removed, and our future is secure. Jesus took our sin upon Himself on the cross and rose again so that we could walk in freedom and newness of life. When we place our faith in Him, we are no longer defined by what was, but by who He is. If God has freed you from the past, share that freedom with others. There are people around you who need to hear the Gospel—that forgiveness and grace are available today through believing in Jesus Christ alone.
