The Only Day That Counts

In today’s episode, I’d like to quote Dr. D. James Kennedy, a man who lived His life fully for Jesus. He said, “There is really only one day in the life of anybody that counts. [It] is the day when you stand before Jesus Christ, after death. Either He will look you in the eye and say, ‘Well done, you good and faithful servant’ or He’ll say, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, for I never knew you.’ In between these two extremes, it’s fair to say that He may say to some, ‘Well, you can come in, but I am really disappointed in how poorly you finished.’ Paul tells us that some will be saved, but as through fire. On the Day of Judgment, their works will not stand the test of Christ.
