God’s Great Love
Wednesday Feb 18, 2026
Wednesday Feb 18, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
When Jesus shared the parable of the Prodigal Son, He told us of a strained relationship between a kind Father and his wayward son. Ultimately, the Father welcomed his son back with open arms! Romans 5:10 says “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!” You see, that's the Father’s great love. He loved us so much, that He sent His one and only Son from Heaven to die on a cross in our place. We were reconciled through Jesus. So, what can we do to love others as God has loved us? Well, where were you in life when you first came to Christ? Do you know anyone else in that same place who needs to hear about His great love? Ask God to give you opportunities to share the Gospel of reconciliation and love! Want to know more about sharing your faith? Well, visit us at sharelife.today. That’s sharelife.today.

Known by Love

Tuesday Feb 17, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Here’s a question: what are you known for? Jesus says in John 13:35, "By this all people will know that you’re my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Over and over again, the Bible urges us to love one another. After all, it is the Father's love that compelled Him to make a way for us to be with Him forever in Heaven! I know a guy named Vince who had a heart procedure. Now, can you believe that DURING the procedure he shared the Gospel with the doctors and nurses in the operating room? I mean, talk about a heart for Jesus! What do you think Vince is known for? Well, I'm sure everyone in that operating room can attest to the fact that Vince truly loves Jesus! What a testimony! Now, I challenge you to look for opportunities where you can show your love for others by sharing your faith. Visit sharelife.today for tips and resources to help you share your faith. That’s sharelife.today.

Real Love

Monday Feb 16, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
What is real love? Now, that’s the question that all of humanity has wrestled with. You see, we all need love. In fact, we’re made for it! When God created man and woman, He did so in His own image, and He declared it good. And the Bible tells us over and over about the Father’s love for us. In fact, there’s a hymn you may have heard before that says, “How deep the Father’s love for us; how vast beyond all measure…that He should give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure.” Jesus told his disciples in John 15 that “greater love hath no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Did you know that Jesus—who’s God Himself—not only came to earth, but He died on the cross for our sins in our place? You see, greater love hath no one than this. And Jesus charged us to share His love with others. Learn more about how you can do just that at sharelife.today. That’s sharelife.today.

Means of Growth: Witness
Friday Feb 13, 2026
Friday Feb 13, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
There are five primary means of growth to help your spiritual walk. Bible. Prayer. Worship. Fellowship; and finally, witness. I was recently in the same room with a brand-new grandmother. You’ll never guess what she wanted to talk about…along, of course, with copious pictures. I was recently in the same room with a sports fan and you’ll never guess what he wanted to talk about! My point is that we talk about the things which are important to us. So, you could conclude that some Christians don’t talk about Jesus because He’s not very important to them. As you become more and more involved in the first four means of growth – Bible, Prayer, Worship and Fellowship – Jesus Christ will become more and more important in your life. You’ll naturally want to talk about Him. Witnessing is simply telling others about Jesus and why the Bible says Jesus needs to be important to them. For tips and tools to help you become a better witness, visit sharelife.today. That's sharelife.today.

Means of Growth: Fellowship

Thursday Feb 12, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Did you realize there are five different means to help you grow spiritually? I want to talk about fellowship today. How do you define it? Well, you know, I heard someone say, “two or more fellows in the same ship.” You know, when I first heard it, I thought it a bit corny. But…it does get to the heart of the matter of spiritual fellowship. Here, I think, is the main point. Through calm seas or crashing waves, these people are in the same ship together. They need each other…depend on each other…encourage each other …challenge…support each other. Christian fellowship is all of these plus praying for one another, caring for one another and developing friendships with one another. Perhaps this is behind the promise of the Gospel that where two or three believers are gathered together, Jesus is in their midst. Visit share life dot today for more tips and resources to help you share the Gospel and grow in your faith. That's sharelife.today.

Means of Growth: Worship

Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Worship - it is easier to describe than define. There are five means of growth that help us growth spiritually. Bible…Prayer…Worship…Fellowship.…Witness. Today, I want to talk about what it means to worship. To worship God is to honor, reverence and adore Him - giving Him the supreme place in our lives. Worship deepens our relationship with our Lord. Let me emphasize two important avenues of worship. Personal, private worship is a daily investment of time that pays an amazing dividend. With your Bible and your prayer list, this one-on-one encounter with Jesus is rich and rewarding. It’s the place where His grace and strength comes into our lives every day. Corporate worship is a gathering together of God’s people at church to engage in prayer, music and teaching of God’s Word. Taken together, these two provide for a necessity of spiritual growth. To help you in your spiritual walk with the Lord, we have plenty of resources online at sharelife.today. That's sharelife.today.

Means of Growth: Prayer
Tuesday Feb 10, 2026
Tuesday Feb 10, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
This week on Share Life Today we are looking at how we can grow deeper spiritually. There are five means to spiritual growth – so five words – Bible, Prayer, Worship, Fellowship, Witness. I want to focus on the significance of prayer right now. Prayer is one of the greatest privileges of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Bible is God speaking to us, but prayer is us speaking to God. The simple ACTS acrostic provides a useful guideline: Adoration – praising God for who He is. Confession – admitting our sin and receiving His forgiveness. Thanksgiving – thanking God for all that He does. And supplication – bringing our needs and requests to Him in simple faith. A – C – T – S. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing. If we'll do that, we'll be more aware of our great need for the Lord at all times. For more practical tips on becoming an active witness and resources to help you do that, visit sharelife.today. That's sharelife.today.

Means of Growth: Bible

Monday Feb 09, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Have you tried to read any product labels recently? Talk about complicated! You may have noticed that the more advancement we make in life, the more complicated things become? Unfortunately, the same complicated approach is infiltrating our spiritual lives too. So, it’s time to get back to the basics. The product label on the Spiritual Growth package contains five words: Bible, Prayer, Worship Fellowship, Witness. First, we want to focus on the Word of God – the Bible - The place to begin is your commitment to read the Bible. The Bible describes itself as “God-breathed, useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." It’s indispensable for our growth in the Lord. Start in the Gospel of John. Read a chapter a day. Read more if you want to, but just get in the habit. Move next to Acts. Then keep going from there. We would count it a privilege to become your Partner in Growing. Light in the Darkness
Friday Feb 06, 2026
Friday Feb 06, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Sometimes, we can get discouraged by the darkness that we see around us. Even turning on the news can cause us to lose hope. But let me share with you today second Corinthians 4:6, which says, “For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” The world looks very similar to the way it was over two thousand years ago when Jesus first stepped foot on it. And just as He brought light to dark hearts then, He continues to do so now through transforming those who trust in Him from the inside out. He replaces our old, sinful hearts with new ones. And as new creations, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, lighting our souls with joy and peace. So let’s not keep it to ourselves. Let’s share our faith and give the hope of the Gospel to others. For more, visit sharelife.today.

Light and Salvation
Thursday Feb 05, 2026
Thursday Feb 05, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” This beautiful verse from Psalm twenty-seven teaches us an important truth about Jesus—He is our light and our salvation. Jesus did not come just to be a good example or a great teacher for us—the Bible tells us that He is our Savior. Romans three says that “the wages of sin is death,” and every person that’s sinned has to pay it. Jesus told his disciples that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Well, all means all—that’s all all means! Every human has fallen short of that standard. But praise be to God! Jesus was more than just another man—He’s God in the flesh who died on the cross for our sins. He is our light and salvation. Who can you share this Good News with today?
