God’s Heart for the Lost
Wednesday Jan 21, 2026
Wednesday Jan 21, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Have you ever wondered how God feels about those who are far from Him? Well, Jesus made it clear in Luke nineteen when He said He came to seek and to save that which is lost. God’s heart is not one of condemnation, but compassion. Through the prophet Ezekiel, the Lord says that He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. In Second Peter, God reminds us that He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish. This is why Jesus came. He gave His life on the cross and rose again so that anyone who believes in Him could be forgiven and have everlasting life. Like the father in Luke fifteen who ran to the prodigal son returning home and embraced him with open arms, Jesus welcomes and celebrates all those who place their trust in Him alone. Remember that every person you encounter matters deeply to God. Ask Him to use you to share His love and truth. And for help in getting started, visit sharelife.today.

The Condition of the Lost
Tuesday Jan 20, 2026
Tuesday Jan 20, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Why does vision matter when it comes to sharing our faith? Well, because Scripture tells us the reality of lostness. Isaiah says that all of us, like sheep, have gone astray. Ephesians reminds us that apart from Christ, people are spiritually dead in sin. And Second Corinthians explains that many are blinded to the truth. Understanding this changes how we respond to the lost around us. When we see people as Jesus does, our frustration turns into compassion. And that’s why the Gospel matters so much. Jesus stepped into our brokenness, took our sin on the cross, and rose again to bring life to those who are spiritually dead. We ourselves were in the exact same spot before Jesus transformed our heart. When we remember where we came from, we’re moved to lovingly share the Good News with others. Today, ask God to give you eyes to see the spiritual condition of those around you. For help, visit sharelife.today.

Seeing As Jesus Sees
Monday Jan 19, 2026
Monday Jan 19, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
You know, it’s easy to see people the way the world sees them, by appearances, attitudes, or behavior. But God invites us to see differently. First Samuel 16 reminds us that while people look at the outward appearance, the Lord looks at the heart. Jesus trained His disciples to lift their eyes and to see people not as interruptions, but as beings of great worth. When Jesus looked at the crowds, Matthew tells us that He felt compassion for them. And seeing led to feeling, and feeling led to action. When God gives us new eyes, we begin to notice hearts instead of hurdles and people instead of problems. Jesus came to seek and save the lost by giving His life on the cross and rising again so others could have eternal life. Today, ask God to help you see as Jesus sees. And as He opens your eyes, look for opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel with those around you. For help, visit our website at sharelife.today.

A New Thing
Friday Jan 16, 2026
Friday Jan 16, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
There are moments in life when it’s hard to see what God is doing. Circumstances may feel uncertain, and the future may seem unclear. Yet God speaks words of hope to His people in Isaiah 43:19, saying, “See, I am doing a new thing; now it springs up, do you not perceive it?” Even when we don’t recognize it, God is actively at work, bringing renewal and purpose. The new thing God is doing in us is all because of Jesus. Through His death on the cross, our sins are forgiven, and new life is made possible. When we place our trust in Christ, God begins a work in us that transforms our hearts and gives us lasting hope for today and eternity. God never intended this hope to stop with us. He calls us to share the Good News with those around us who are searching for meaning and peace. For help in sharing your faith, visit our website at sharelife.today. That’s sharelife.today.

A New Future
Thursday Jan 15, 2026
Thursday Jan 15, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
You know, it’s easy to get stuck looking backward. Past failures. Past pain. Past mistakes. But God calls us to lift our eyes. In Isaiah 43:18, He says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” God doesn’t want our past to hold us captive. Through Jesus Christ, our past is forgiven, our guilt is removed, and our future is secure. Jesus took our sin upon Himself on the cross and rose again so that we could walk in freedom and newness of life. When we place our faith in Him, we are no longer defined by what was, but by who He is. If God has freed you from the past, share that freedom with others. There are people around you who need to hear the Gospel—that forgiveness and grace are available today through believing in Jesus Christ alone. The Hope of Heaven
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
Wednesday Jan 14, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
In a world filled with uncertainty, many people wonder what comes next. Pain, loss, and change reminds us how temporary this life can be. But for those who trust in Christ, the Bible offers a powerful promise. In Isaiah 65:17, the Lord says, “I will create a new heaven and a new earth.” God is preparing something far greater than anything we experience here. For believers, Heaven is not wishful thinking. It is a certain hope secured by Jesus Christ. Through His death on the cross, our sin was fully paid for, and eternal life was made possible. Because Jesus lives, those who trust in Him can face the future with confidence, knowing that after this life ends, Heaven awaits. This hope is too important to keep to ourselves. Every person will spend eternity somewhere, and God calls us to share the Gospel so others possess the same hope we have. For help, visit sharelife.today.

Jesus Brings True Peace
Tuesday Jan 13, 2026
Tuesday Jan 13, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Our world is searching for peace. We see it in our neighborhoods, our cities, and even in our own homes. People talk about peace, but so often we find division, fear, and unrest. The Bible reminds us that true peace doesn’t come from agreements or good intentions. It comes from a Person. Ephesians 2:15 tells us that Jesus came to create something new. Through Jesus Christ, we’re first brought into peace with God. On the cross, He took our sins upon Himself and made a way for forgiveness and new life. As believers, God calls us to share this message of peace with others. Changed lives change families. Changed families change communities. And through the Gospel spreading person to person, true peace is brought to the world. Let’s join what God is already doing and look for opportunities to share Jesus with those around us. He Makes All Things New
Monday Jan 12, 2026
Monday Jan 12, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Have you ever wished you could start over? A fresh page. A clean slate. Maybe you’re carrying regrets from last year, or even years ago. Things you wish you could undo. But the good news is this: God specializes in new beginnings. In Revelation 21:5, the Lord declares, “Behold, I make all things new.” Not some things. Not most things. All things. Through Jesus Christ, God offers forgiveness for sin, healing for our brokenness, and new life that begins now and lasts forever. Jesus died on the cross and rose again so we could be made new, not by our effort, but by His grace. When we trust in Him, our past no longer defines us. Our future is secure in Him. If God has made your life new through Christ, don’t keep that to yourself. Share the Gospel—the message of new life through Jesus alone—with those around you today. For help, visit sharelife.today.

Gospel Outline Week – Faith
Friday Jan 09, 2026
Friday Jan 09, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Today, we're coming to the final day of learning an easy-to-remember, hard-to-forget Gospel presentation. We’ve been using the five fingers of our hand as our learning aid. Picture the smallest finger on your hand - it's going to represent faith. Grace, Man, God and Christ, Faith. Faith, in a Biblical sense, is the means whereby people make a personal response to the Gospel. Saving faith isn’t simply head knowledge about Jesus. Many know about Jesus, but have never experienced saving faith. Saving faith is also not just “temporary faith,” trusting in Jesus for health, safety, finances. Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life, and it's necessary for salvation. In the book of Acts, the apostle Paul was asked, “What must I do to be saved?” His answer was this: “Believe – have faith – in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved…” You can watch a brief video demonstrating the Gospel presentation on our website, where you can find resources to help you share your faith. That's sharelife.today.

Gospel Outline Week – Christ
Thursday Jan 08, 2026
Thursday Jan 08, 2026
Hi, I’m John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you’re listening to Share Life Today.
Today, we are going to learn an easy-to-remember Gospel presentation. Our pattern to share the Gospel is based on five main words – Grace, Man, God, Christ, and Faith and we are pairing each one with a finger of our hand as a learning aid. Today we’ll focus on the fourth word - picture your ring finger and think of the Bridegroom because today’s word is CHRIST. Jesus Christ is both God and Man. John’s Gospel opens with this emphasis, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God…And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” While Jesus had many great accomplishments, there’s no doubt about His most important: He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin…and rose from the dead to prove He has purchased a place in Heaven for us. This gift is received by faith. You can visit sharelife.today to view a video demonstrating the Hand Presentation of the Gospel. That’s sharelife.today.
