Jim Sanders, Executive Vice President of Ambassador Advertising, shared a powerful quote. “I love the quote from the new chairman of Home Depot, who coming on board, met with all his senior staff, and they were all talking about how wonderful it used to be, how the glory days. And he said, when your memories exceed your dreams, the end is near. And I added the corollary—when your dreams exceed your memories, the future is bright.” What a great quote! You know, it’s good to look back and remember God’s faithfulness. The stories of what He’s done encourage us and build our faith. But we can’t stay there. God’s mission moves forward — and there are still so many who need to hear the Gospel. So let’s thank God for His faithfulness yesterday and keep working for His Kingdom today. Ambassadors For Christ

Christ Is Important To Me

At one of his concerts, Justin stopped the show and said, “I want my pastor to come up and share more with you. But I thought, that is so powerful for Justin Bieber to do that, and to make a statement about, ‘Hey, Christ is important to me.’” Larry went on to explain the impact: when someone with influence takes a stand for Christ, people listen. Young fans who already love Bieber suddenly hear about a greater love — the love of Jesus Christ. And here’s the truth: you don’t have to be a pop star to make that kind of impact. All Of Us Are Witnesses

When it comes to evangelism, Barry McGuire doesn’t mince words. He says, “I say, all of us are witnesses. Some of us are witnesses for the prosecution.” That should stop us in our tracks. If we know the hope of the Gospel, of what Jesus has done for us, but keep silent, we’re being witnesses for the wrong side. And in doing so, we may even be testifying against the very truth we claim to believe. But there’s another way. Barry shares, “It's how do we get as many people into heaven as we can in the amount of time we have left?” When we choose to open our mouths and point people to Christ through telling them the Good News of the Gospel, we become faithful witnesses for Him. He says, “And look at where we're at today, today, we can instantly communicate to anybody around the globe, um, right now from where we're sitting, Uh, we could be talking to anybody on any continent.” What a time to be alive and share Christ! Every conversation, every post, every interaction is an opportunity to point someone toward Christ and share the Gospel with them. And the message we share matters. The question isn’t whether you’re broadcasting a message. The question is: what message are you broadcasting? Every Christian has been called to take the Gospel to the world — and it starts with us sharing it with the people He has put in our own circle of relationships. We Make Plans, But God Orders Our Steps

I never thought that this kid from Nebraska Farm Boy techie would end up in Christian broadcasting, but I really feel like that’s what God trained me for 20-30 years ago. He had a plan for this—not me.” And that is so true—God has a plan for each of us to use whatever means we can—and in Troy’s case, media!—to share the Gospel with the world. A Just Judge

Let's suppose I stood before a judge with fifty thousand parking tickets; and in my opportunity to speak, I asked the judge, "your Honor, would you please let me go? I promise I’ll be a perfect driver from now on." Do you think that judge should declare me free? If he or she did, they couldn’t be considered a just judge. The reason I share this illustration is that it is the same decision God is faced with when looking at our sin. Yes, He loves us and doesn't want to punish us; but on the other hand, He is just and must punish sin. Do you see the problem? Well, God solved this problem in the person of Jesus Christ, who lived an absolutely perfect life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, and all we have to do is put our trust in Jesus alone to be declared righteous in God's sight.
